Disney’s got a new idea to enhance the viewing experience for its classic movies: Fill the audience with iPads. Can you imagine a hell worse than a movie theater filled with children raising up their super expensive, light-polluting, noise-making, screen-obstructing toys? Hard Pass, Disney. Hard Pass.

Starting September 13th special screenings of The Little Mermaid will be held across the nation, that encourage folks to interact with the film while playing games against each other on their ipad. We are writing about this as a warning to the people who mistake this screening for just a nice screening of a great film. This is actually the Devil.

Listen, there are rules when it comes to re-watching classic Disney. You can sing along (if the screening is a singalong experience). But no one, NO ONE wants to see your view-blocking piece of technology being waved about for an hour.
