What's a geek to do on those rare occasions when cuff links are needed but the rent-a-tux place forgot to include them? Make some yourself using UTP connectors—or Ethernet connectors—crimpers and some pair-wire. This is a pretty good idea and bound to make a splash at any event, given it is technology relate. These are also great because you don't have to worry about losing the cuff links since this DIY project is cheap and easy to do.
