Tired of waiting for Sony’s PSP? Why not do what Ben Heckendorn did, and turn your PS2 into a portable handheld? Ben’s site contains all the gory details, and an abundance of pictures so you can follow along at home. It’s powered by your standard Lithium Ion battery, and I kind of wonder how long the battery lasts under load, but even five minutes of GTA:SA at the bus stop is better than none. With a relatively large 5-inch LCD (the PSP will have a 4.3-incher), the unit doesn’t exactly look like the most comfortable thing to try and play (unless you have giant hands), but it’s still a cool hack.
