I had almost entirely forgotten pagers ever existed, until this announcement from NTT DoCoMo comes and says all related services will be canned in March 2007. DoCoMo introduced their “Pocket Bell” service back in July of 1968, and it hit a peak of about 6.5 million subscribers in June of 1996. We all know what happened after that.
