In a sense, Paralives is simply like a fifth installment of The Sims—but with its own unique personality.

Once this initial customization step is complete, the player can start developing the environment for their Parafolks. This is where the construction mode comes into play. It has one major difference from its competitors: there is no grid. Paralives eliminated the grid and offers a clean, open visual style.
