Bluetooth? Please. When you’ve got a music player as petite as the new Shuffle, a bulky dongle kind of defeats the purpose. So Elecom’s Actrail headphones cut out the middleman, plugging in the Shuffle next to the right earpiece. Brilliant.

You can currently only affix the current-generation Shuffle to the Actrails, but no one’s going to stop you from at least attempting a Nano or, for the cranially bold, iPod Touch. They’re available in pink or white for $50 in Japan, but copycat designs won’t take long to find themselves stateside. [OhGizmo! via Wired]
