Microsoft signed a deal with ESPN to bring ESPN to the Xbox. You get 3500 live sporting events, with most in HD.

When you’re watching a game, you can pick a side (basically live polling), and real-time trivia questions you can answer too.

Also access ESPN.com stats and highlights without leaving the game you’re watching. This is going to be free for Gold members.

Update: Bummer. Looks like you’ll need to be on an “affiliated service provider” to get ESPN on Xbox Live. If you get internet from any of these ISPs, you’ll be ready to roll. [CNET]
