3,980 yen (about $39) is the cost of Evergreen’s new “DN-MP3-SD” SD-slot MP3 player. While $39 really isn’t the cheapest price I’ve seen for an MP3 player in the US, 3,900 yen makes this the cheapest Japanese MP3 player I’ve seen in a while. It also has USB 2.0, so it could probably work as a card reader.
