Every Microsoft Employee Is Getting a Free Windows Phone 7, Uh, Phone

Microsoft is at least excited enough about Windows Phone 7 to promise a free phone to every Microsoft employee. Apple and Google did the same with their major phones—which, interestingly, leaves Palm as the only major who didn't give every employee free phones. If nothing else, life at Microsoft with iPhone probably just got a little harder.

Says an internal email from Andy Lees, Microsoft's Senior VP of mobile stuff:

With all the buzz, a lot of you are asking how you can get your hands on a phone and get more involved. So, I am thrilled to announce that a new Windows Phone 7 will be made available to every Microsoft employee as we launch in each market around the world. The process will vary based on your market, your carrier, and your launch date so stay tuned for more information closer to launch.

"...Windows Phone 7, Uh, Phone"

Really? You have to go and cast a slight negative position in the title of this article. You just reinforced your position on your love of the iPhone and to heck to everything else not Apple endowed.
