Over the years, with the help of Jager and horror flicks, I've managed to develop a pretty strong stomach. But this invention makes me cringe and dry-heave a bit. This is eye jewelry developed by Eric Klarenbeek. The jewels hang from contact lenses. Supposedly they don't affect eyesight at all. It is an artistic concept, so it probably won't become the latest fashion trend, but odd nonetheless. Check out Klarenbeek's portfolio here too see all of his weird stuff.

At least these aren't permanent? I've heard of the implants that Comrade is talking about.

Supposedly, there is no damage to either visual performance or mobility of the eye.

Apparently, healing is uneventful and involves nothing more than a course of antibiotic drops such as Tobramycine.

Allegedly, you don't have an irritated, ouch-who-threw-sand-in-my-eyes feeling.

But...how about the Eyeball tattoos?!!! Yep, these people actually inject dye into the cornea.
