Yondu Udonta may have gotten an amazing send-off in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but in another time, or another place, he could’ve made the world’s most practically perfect in every way nanny.
How It Should Have Ended has released a fan trailer with Yondu as the new Mary Poppins. The two films are spliced together so that Yondu’s sauciness, sarcasm, and whistling arrow all play a role in bringing the Banks family together. I am a bit surprised at how well Yondu’s speech to Rocket works on Mr. Banks. Then again, Banksie was kind of a horrible father—something Yondu empathizes with.
