Deadline reports Will Forte has joined the cast of Goblin, David Mikalson’s “raunchy comedy” at A24 described as “Ted meets E.T.” He joins Skyler Gisondo and Kenneth Branagh as the voice of the “anatomically correct” goblin of the title.
Switch
Deadline also has word Alexis Louder is attached to star in Switch, a “body swap rom-com” from Grey’s Anatomy and iCarly director Morenike Joela Evans “centered on a Black woman and a white man who have to walk a week in each other’s lives.” Louder will play Imani, a” Black elementary school teacher who butts heads with Ben, a white executive, and wakes up the next day in his body after a mysterious escape room adventure. The two are forced to work together to find a way to switch back to themselves, all while overcoming assumptions about each other and learning about life from each other’s perspective–and maybe they fall in love in the process.”
Gundam
According to a new report from What’s On Netflix, filming has allegedly wrapped on the live-action Gundam movie starring Sydney Sweeney and Noah Centineo.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters
Deadline reports Corey Stoll, Ralph Ineson, and Nyasha Hatendi will star alongside Pilou Asbæk and Millie Brady in the currently untitled Monarch: Legacy of Monsters spinoff focusing on Wyatt Russell’s younger incarnation of Colonel Lee Shaw. According to the outlet, the series “will follow the story of Shaw (Russell), an American operative who, in 1984, went on a secret mission behind enemy lines in an attempt to stop the Soviets from unleashing a horrific new Titan big enough to destroy the U.S. and turn the tide of the Cold War.”
Batman: The Caped Crusader
Entertainment Weekly additionally reports Wunmi Mosaku will voice a “radically different” version of Roxy Rocket in the second season of Batman: The Caped Crusader. According to co-showrunner James Tucker, “We gave her a tragic backstory that she was able to tap into, and the anger. In the context of the show, it’s a revenge story, but we don’t know that necessarily at first. We play her as mysterious. We don’t even know she’s a she at first.”
