If the Star Wars movies taught us anything, it’s that it’s always safer to travel with an astromech droid by your side. And while previous R2-D2-themed suitcases left us disappointed by their silence, this one actually lights up, beeps, and chirps away at the push of a button.
In fact this rolling case seems particularly worthy of your $30 because the lid is domed and curved just like R2-D2, making the effect a little more convincing. And while at just 18-inches tall it’s probably better suited for kids who are traveling, it will still easily squeeze into a plane’s overhead bins (not sure about an X-wing’s) so there’s no reason an adult couldn’t use it for a weekend getaway to Dagobah.
