Some of the girly girls we hang around with were just dying for the new pink Razr V3c from Verizon, so Gizmodo got its greasy paws on one last weekend. It's the usual Motorola Razr stuff, with its effortless good looks but labyrinthine user interface. Its 1.3 megapixel camera is bad (see pic after the jump), but not awful like the one on the original Razr. But the thing sounds great, with nice side-tone (you can hear yourself, eliminating the dreaded cellphone yell ). It also gets good reception even in the boondocks, and its color is, well, pink. It's more like a lavender/purplish-pink, but the girlies will love it. Keep that in mind for Valentine's Day, dudes. I got my lady the matching Bluetooth headset in pink, too. Went over quite well. Take a look at the video—I noticed that even the etched keypad has pink trim:

Here's a pic taken with the Pink Razr's 1.3-megapixel camera. Eh. Kinda murky.

DISCUSSION
josephraymond, it just so happens that i think john did a good job on his
review. the video is his "run of the mill razr n pink" because john is
making a REPORT on what he thinks about the new razr. & he didn't even
mention any men buying the pink phone for themselves. he merely said that it
would be a good gift for a woman. and he's right. i'd die if my husband
bought me that. so you just go on and try to be more optimistic. there's no
need in being rude. and the reason he put so much effort (& that's what the
picture and video were was effort) into making his full report on this
particular razr is because he wanted to be thorough so that consumers would
know exactly what they were getting whenever they bought this product. so
next time, remember this. if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything
at all. being nice is ALWAYS the best choice.
