Ryan Reynolds is trying his hand at another comic book movie, this time Dark Horse’s R.I.P.D. about a cop (Reynolds) who gets murdered, and then joins the police’s Rest in Peace Department to catch his own killer.
Entertainment Weekly has the pic, while Cinema Blend has the oddly muted movie poster.
I haven’t read Peter Lenkov’s original comic, but any movie that features Jeff Bridges in a mustache can’t be all bad. The movie opens on July 19th.
(Of course we all know the best undead cop movie ever is Dead Heat, starring Treat Williams and Joe Piscopo.)
