Will Salman Rushdie’s Booker Prize-winning novel Midnight’s Children become a satisfying film? Midnight Children should be impossible to film (could have been a 10-hour miniseries, though).” But now you can check out the first actual trailer for the film, which comes out November 2, and get more of a sense of how it captures Rushdie’s story of superpowered children born in the hour of India’s independence.
