In between the original Tron and Disney’s recent Tron: Legacy is the animated series TRON: Uprising, which explains what happened under the dark reign of Clu. Watch the new trailer now… and find out who could be the next Tron.
Uprising is about Beck (voiced by Elijah Wood), a program who leads the revolution and could possibly be the new Tron. As he’s not in the Tron Legacy movie, we’re all going to assume that the final episode ends with his bloody derezzed death. Or not. Also lending their voices to this series are Lance Henriksen, Mandy Moore, Bruce Boxleitner and Paul Reubens. The 10-part micro series will air on Disney XD this fall, and then pick up for a regular spot in the summer of 2012. Let the revolution begin.
