Fringe Comic Book To Feel Like TV Show, Literally

We’ve told you before about the Fringe comic book, but here’s something to make you a little more interested in picking it up: Although the overall plot to the six-issue series comes from show creators JJ Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, and Roberto Orci, the actual comic books will be written by three members of the show’s writing staff: Julia Cho, Mike Johnson and… Zack Whedon. Yes, Zack “Co-creator of Dr. Horrible” Whedon. So now, if Joshua Jackson’s character starts talking about his hammer, we’ll know who was responsible. Talking about the DC/Wildstorm comic book, David Baronoff, creative executive for Bad Robot said, “We are working with the amazing team at Wildstorm so that both the artists’ work and the physical book itself will be reflective of the story’s place and time.” The physical book itself?
