In case you forgot how Secret Santa/White Elephant/Yankee Swap/Hanukkah Harry/Totally Nondenominational Office-Appropriate Tchotchke Exchange works, here’s a quick recap: the youngest gifter in the group gives their present to the tallest person, who then flips a coin and depending on the flip, has to give the gift to the host’s dog. Oh, and no gifts can be over $20 or a similarly trivial amount. Rinse and repeat, until the unwrapping party gets to your gift, when your sense of humor where either be validated in front of your colleagues or judged by an awkward silence. But this time you actually found a deal on something funny that your giftee won’t toss into the garbage immediately after the party, and everyone is cheering your name, and chanting “Real gift! Real gift! Real gift!”
