An original Ghostbuster drops some spooky news on the much-gossiped-about third addition to the Ghostbusters movies, could we finally be getting a cast and more news this year?
An AICN tipster attended the opening of the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts that was hosted by original Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd.
When asked by The Boston Globe if there were any Ghostbuster updates Aykroyd responded:
Script is commenced early summer. Hope to be in production by late fall 2009.
Which means the script, by The Office scribes, is probably almost done, and we could be getting greenlight and casting news soon. We’ll have to keep our eyes peeled on the old NYC firehouse.
