The Columbus Zoo opens its new Heart of Africa exhibit this week, and to mark the occasion, central Ohio’s Channel 10 reached back into its archives to find this footage of the zoo from 1956 and 1957. It includes some absolutely adorable clips of Colo, the first gorilla to ever be born in a zoo.
