Cheap British electronics merchant Goodman’s announced its latest attempt to assault Apple’s iPod from every conceivable angle with its latest design, the Star Player, an MP3 player that can glow in three eye-catching colors. The model GMP31G2 player will be available in sizes of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB, and pricing and availability haven’t been announced. Even though the thing is able to glow and amuse with that special lighting, the company insists its batteries last 17 hours. Sounds like whoever wrote that spec was wishing on a star.
