Wondering why we haven't seen any set pics of Ryan Reynolds wearing Green Lantern's iconic suit? Because the entire costume will be computer-generated. Until the first promo pics are released, we'll have to make do with this new concept art.

SlashFilm is reporting that the Green Lantern's suit will be completely CG, and as of right now Reynolds is filming in a grey tracking motion/performance capture suit, with led lights. Still, award-winning costume designer Ngila Dickson, reportedly supports the decision because the production team were looking for something new. The goal of this initiative is to make the suit look otherworldly, since it's of alien origin.

So what will Hal Jordan look like? Frequent Warner Bros. movie concept artist Jason Palmer, who says he's been working on this film, released a bit of his concept art for the Green Lantern costume. Sadly, this design wasn't used by Warner Brothers, but at least we know what we're not getting costume wise.

I did some work for the upcoming Green Lantern movie. I can't show the submitted art, but this is some extra art I did as a cover to the submission pdf, but was strangely not included in the submission. Oh well. For this art, I didn't use costume designs or Reynolds ref that was provided by WB, so I can share it with you.
