After only airing two episodes of the dramatic vampire series True Blood, HBO has deemed Alan Ball’s new bloody sex show a hit by giving Ball the go-ahead for another season. This makes me happy, because it means more creepy-crawlies will be introduced (Ball hinted at possible werewolf involvement in the future at Comic-Con). Production will begin on the new series early in 2009. [Variety]
