Heavy Metal, based on the comic of the same name, is the ultimate Sunday night stoner classic. The soundtrack features Black Sabbath, Devo, Stevie Nicks, Grand Funk Railroad, Cheap Trick, and the red rocker himself, Sammy Haggar. But you’re here for the visuals, not the music. And certainly not the plot. (Oh, God, not the plot.)

despite being aggressively cheesy, the movie is amazingly entertaining. It’s a cult classic for a reason, and makes a good way to kill the evening if you can’t get your Game fix on BitTorrent.[Amazon Instant Video]
