Hitachi has a new device launching next month in Japan called the “Hitachi Internet Appliance FLORA-ie 55mi.” I thought internet appliances died way back when, but the FLORA-ie comes equipped with a 667MHz Crusoe, SVGA 10.4″ touchscreen, 256MB of memory, and wireless/wired LAN. It comes with Windows XP Embedded, so this could make for the easiest in-car PC mod to date.
