New version of Hitachi’s Prius Deck Media Center PC, this one running the new 2004 version of the operating system. Only available in Japan (unfortunately), the Prius Deck 770G comes with a nice high-resolution widescreen LCD, a 3GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, a DVD burner, a TV tuner, and a remote control.
PS – If you’re thinking about purchasing a Media Center PC, don’t buy one from HP. We just bought one on Saturday and are sending it back, as it was quite possibly the shoddiest piece of hardware we’d ever encountered. And coming from us, that’s saying a lot.
