How breathing marks every single second of our lives

Breathing is not only the most crucial part of our existence but an expression of ourselves at the most basic level. It is the most crucial part of our existence but we rarely think about it—especially in Western civilizations. This short film is a good reminder of the power of breathing and how it marks our lives.


I have to confess that I catch myself breathing poorly all the time. And while there's no proven scientific studies about the benefits of breath control, whenever I become conscious of it, I definitely find myself better, more focused, and relaxed. It happens every time I dive, for example, in which breathing with a rhythm becomes a crucial part of your time underwater.
