The patent application refers to a printed “film layer” that a user can stick on to a smartphone case. Then they choose a matching wallpaper, and they have an all-encompassing phone skin. First, it’s not even a new idea. Second, it will probably just end up depicting something hilariously retro, or, or… stop it Samsung, I can’t unsee what I’ve just seen.
