The Register posted the poll we mentioned a while back, of books that deserve their own movie adaptations, and five out of 50 choices are Banks novels. And Banks’ Use of Weapons is winning the poll in a landslide, with only Larry Niven and Larry Pournelle’s The Mote in God’s Eye even coming close. Are you paying attention, Hollywood?
