I love a good chess board. While I’m not entirely sold on its modern art aesthetic, or its $30k price tag, I do love that the pieces start talking shit when you move them.
A3 Network says the set was hand-built by artist Barbara Kruger, who used three integrated computers and 96 microprocessor to get the Corian pieces to verbally interact with each other. Now if I could only custom order a set with soundbytes from The Seventh Seal, maybe I’d at least start daydreaming about buying a set. [YouTube]
