Yikes. Tusk is one part Misery, one part man-to-walrus body mutilation movie. We’re really not sure what to expect from Kevin Smith’s latest — but he’s definitely horrifying us.
The official synopsis is this:
When his best friend and podcast co-host goes missing in the backwoods of Canada, a young guy joins forces with his friend’s girlfriend to search for him.
But, as you can see from the trailer, it’s so much more. Long gets kidnapped and a creepy old man tries to turn him into a walrus. The scene where the old fella is standing over a water tank screaming and laughing sent chills down my spine. Because I’m trying to picture what Long looks like in the water. NIGHTMARE.
Can’t wait. Tusk hits theaters on September 19th.
