The 2010 Milan LED light festival—yes, there’s such an event—has produced some amusing art displays, but my absolute favorite is pictured right here. It’s called ‘Ieri, Oggi, Domani’ which translates as ‘Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow’ and involves glow-in-the-dark underwear.

The installation was created by Italian designer Fabio Novembre and it is meant to create “dialogue between tradition and modernity” by being a celebration of the “century-old” practice of hanging garments from clotheslines. [DesignBoom]
