To commemorate the release of Dollhouse Season 2 on DVD today, the Dollhouse team made this music video for the song “Remains” from the episode “Epitaph One.” What’s it about? A fellow who buys his android lover through the mail.
The haunting clip stars Fran Kanz (a.k.a. Topher) and Dollhouse scriptwriter Maurissa Tancharoen, who also played the Active Kilo. Although it’s not about the Actives and their personality-swapping antics, it thematically echoes the show. The clip was directed by Anton King, and “Remains” was penned by Tancharoen and Jed Whedon.
