Ryan Connolly’s short film PROXiMITY takes the familiar concept of “The Most Dangerous Game” and adds an additional rule: players wear ankle monitors that require them to stick close together or suffer the violent consequences.
PROXiMITY uses a fairly simple concept to make an exciting, if brief, thriller that forces its protagonist to fully understand and utilize the rules of the deadly game he’s playing rather than relying on gore or showy special effects.
