This impressive tribute to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the third and final Indiana Jones film (nope, the fourth one doesn’t count), was created for the Hong Kong Animation Festival in 2011. Of course, it’s actually modeled after a 2,300-year old Jordanian Treasury, Al Khazneh (AKA Petra).

According to the movie, the Temple of the Sun was hidden deep inside the Canyon of the Crescent Moon—an ancient Greco-Roman temple that houses the Holy Grail, a cup that can bestow eternal life. But this one has some very weird things hidden in it.

I’m not entirely sure what Darth Vader is doing in the Chalice room. But it kinda makes sense considering George Lucas snuck in hieroglyphs of R2D2 and C3PO in Raiders of the Lost Ark when Indy was in the Well of Souls, in the ancient city of Tanis.

Then there’s Elsa going after the cup of Christ. This doesn’t look like it’s going to end well... But, for some reason, there's Batman hanging around, ready to stop this she-wolf of the SS from getting her grubby paws on the grail.

The model's details are incredible and all the textures are perfectly reproduced. If you want to make your own version—here are some official sets to start with.
