iRobot Roomba 700 Series: So Much More than a Cat Vehicle

Everyone has seen the video of that darling cat going for a joyride on an iRobot Roomba, and while the vacuum robot is clearly an efficient method of feline transportation, it's that much more effective at cleaning your home.

The iRobot Roomba 700 Series is newly refined with a sleeker design and 50% longer battery life than previous generations. And thanks to its iAdapt™ Responsive Cleaning Technology will work harder to clean your carpets and floors by ensuring that your Roomba passes over every part of your room multiple times.

Depending on your cleaning needs, the iRobot Roomba 700 series comes in a variety of models. The Roomba 760 uses Dirt Detect Series 1 technology—an acoustic sensor that detects debris, while the Roomba 770 and 780 use the Dirt Detect Series 2, which comes with the addition of an optical sensor that hunts out more difficult crud. The 770 and 780 also come with a Full Bin Indicator light that turns on when Roomba's optical sensor identifies a full dustbin.

All models come with HEPA air filters that keep fine dust particles from re-circulating in your home, an AeroVac™ Series 2 bin that increases airflow through Roomba's cleaning head and pulls debris off the brushes and into the bin, and cliff-sensor technology which keeps the little sucker from falling down stairs (which is especially a good thing if your cat is mounted upon it).
