Is This the Letter Sansa Wrote in the Last Game of Thrones Episode?

Last Sunday, Sansa Stark penned a mysterious letter and sent it off by raven to an unknown recipient. Now an eagle-eyed (Raven-eyed? Three-Eyed?) Redditor seems to have deciphered exactly what Sansa wrote.

If you haven’t watched last Sunday’s episode and are for some reason still reading, Sansa’s letter came after an argument with Jon Snow about how they didn’t have enough soldiers to take back Winterfell from Ramsay Bolton. (She’s right.) But Jon argued that they needed to strike now, before a winter storm buries them all in snow and ends their attack before it starts. (He’s also right.) “Coincidentally” Petyr Baelish just so happens to be currently hanging around the north with the army of the Eyrie, and they have nothing much going on.

It was pretty safe to assume that Sansa was writing to Littlefinger to ask for his aid, but Reddit user CreepyPancakes, did the ol’ zoom-n’-enhance to make out most of what Sansa was actually writing:

You [promised] to protect me. Now you have [a chance] to fulfill your promise. [The Knights] of the Vale are under your command. Ride [north] for Winterfell. [Lend] us your aid and I shall see to it that you are [rewarded].

The words in brackets can’t quite be made out in the screenshots, but they all seem to be very reasonable surmises from CreepyPancakes. I would hazard that the words might not exactly correct, but the sentiment is going to be the same, i.e. “swore” for “promised,” “opportunity” for “a chance,” and “the army” or “the soldiers” for “the knights.” Same difference. (Here’s a small gallery of the screencaps they took, in case you want to confirm for yourself.)

Not exactly a shock, but it’s cool to have confirmation—and that the props team didn’t secretly insert a Westerosi grocery list in there as an easter-egg.
