Motorola’s new Droid Xyboard has a graphical branding element that I think it supposed to be a cross between a HAL-style robotic eye and a supernova. Whatever it is, it’s from the future, and it’s even on the box.
But CNET’s Donald Bell points out that, when held the right way, that image is reminiscent of, er…. Something else. Not from the future, but from the Internet’s wild, wooly past.
Don’t hold it that way.
