So the last time that someone made a live-action Jem and the Holograms it was not good. That’s putting it lightly. Luckily for everyone who loves Jem and wants to see something from people who actually saw the cartoon, there’s this Kickstarter.
Truly Outrageous: A Jem Fan Film! is a Kickstarter from real Jem fans with the goal being a short film that picks up right before the cartoon was canceled. And it’s entirely based on the continuity of the cartoon, leaving both the current Jem comic and the bad movie untouched.
