The remastered and recolored hardcover of Batman: The Killing Joke looks way less colorful and trippy than the original version, based on the comparison scans posted by PopCultureShock. Supposedly artist Brian Bolland supervised the re-coloring himself, but the new version takes away some of the jarring garishness of the original. It makes it look much more like a present-day Bat-book, however. Click through for some comparisons between the new and old versions.
