America is getting ready to take one more trip back into the Twilight Zone. Warner Bros. is developing a Twilight Zone TV series from writer Joseph Rothenberg and producer Leonardo DiCaprio.
And Rothenberg, meanwhile, is also writing the script for The Forbin Project, a new remake of 1970's Colossus: The Forbin Project. That movie is described as a "Frankenstein story" about "the world's first sentient computer and the misunderstood genius who gains power over the world because of it." Apparently, Will Smith is attached to star in Forbin, and Ron Howard will direct. [Deadline]
