Life In A Glass House

Does Germany’s Leonardo Glass Cube represent cutting-edge architecture or evidence of strange alien organisms slowly taking over the landscapes of the world? We know it’s the former… but can’t help wondering about the latter, too.

The building, built in 2007, was designed by interdisciplinary design group 3deluxe as a showpiece for the German glassware company Glaskoch, and their Leonardo line of products. Combining architecture, interior design and landscape design, the space is a functional, modern example of Glaskoch’s craftsmanship, modern design… and maybe just a little bit creepy-alien, too.
