Perhaps it was this hapless dude’s fault for picking the outside of an airport terminal to propose to his girlfriend. Not exactly a Venetian gondola. Or perhaps it was the reporter’s fault for flagging them down, questioning the wisdom of their marriage, demanding to inspect the woman’s ring, camera in their face, broadcasting painful seconds of uncomfortable questioning and blank stares.
