The fellow you’re seeing for most of this video from the TED 2010 conference is Nathan Myhrvold. He and his fellow mad scientists may seem a bit goofy and have lofty goals, but I have a lot of faith in them. After all, how can you not succeed in eradicating a disease when you’re using lasers to kill mosquitos?
