Jem and the Holograms

A few new clips from the film have been released. In the first, the Holograms get a new manager, in the second, they get somewhat outrageous on stage, and in the third, they contemplate their future stardom with a singalong.

Moon Knight

Umberto Gonzalez of Heroic Hollywood has claimed on the Collider Heroes Podcast that Marvel are intending to introduce the comic hero Moon Knight in their run of Netflix shows in a “back door pilot” akin to The Punisher’s appearance in Daredevil season 2.

Further reporting has run with the idea, and tied this idea together with months-old rumors that Marvel and Netflix are struggling to find a way to adapt Iron Fist for live action—leading to the largely unsubstantiated claim that the planned Iron Fist TV show will be scrapped and instead be replaced by a Moon Knight series. As ever with rumors and speculation like this, it’s best to keep all the salt handy for now.

Katie Cassidy teases Laurel’s growth as a character on the show, and her potential role in Legends of Tomorrow:

When we saw Laurel last year, she obviously is a fighter and has a lot of heart and I’ve always said that and felt that way about her. Definitely this season, we’ll see her a lot more polished. She’s been training. She’s been working on her skills as much as possible and we’ll see her develop and becoming stronger.

I also think that Andrew Kreisberg made a good point, he said, “Laurel will always see the light at the end of the tunnel as opposed to Oliver who can get into a dark place.” Laurel always tries to see the positive in everything and she’ll continue to do that and I think that she’s going to be a big part of the creation of Legends [of Tomorrow].

Neal McDonough discusses the longevity of Damien Darhk (and his delight at playing the role):

Not immortal, but when he slices his arm open as we saw in episode 1, whatever happened thereafter fixes his body. If you shoot a bullet at him, he’ll just flick it back at you. If you try to hurt him, he’ll just crush you. If he touches you, you die. He’s not immortal. There are a couple in the universe who, obviously at some point, figure out the best of me. But until then, I’m going to rule the world and get it as quickly as possible. Every time I talk about Darhk for more than five minutes, I start to think, “Holy cow, this is crazy,” but it is.

Legends of Tomorrow

Executive Producer Phil Klemmer reveals the show’s fundamental rules for Time Travel:

We do construct a sort of rule on our show. If you kill me right now with a hatchet, the rest of the team on the show can’t go back in time and stop you from hitting me with a hatchet. The rule is that you can’t interfere with events that that you participated in. That creates a time paradox and black hole and horrible things happen.

We want to keep those tensions alive so when our characters are in moments of mortal peril that they do have consequences — that it’s not like ‘Groundhog Day’ and we’ll start over tomorrow.
