If you felt like the summer of 2026 was a little light in terms of end-credit scenes, Masters of the Universe is here to flex its muscles. The new film from director Travis Knight has not one, not two, but three scenes sprinkled throughout the credits, teasing upcoming stories, characters, and more. What happens? Let’s run them down. But, of course, don’t process unless you want to be spoiled.

Io9 2025 Spoiler warning

The first scene happens before you can even throw out your popcorn. Just a few quick seconds into the credits, the first reveal is a lesson from Orko. Yes, Orko, one of the most famous Masters of the Universe characters who does not appear in the movie itself, appears at the end for a lesson. It’s a wink to the original animated series, which would wrap up the story each week, explaining what kids could learn from what they’d just watched. And Orko does that here, talking about muscles not making the man. It’s an excellent addition, even if Orko doesn’t look particularly convincing. We’d imagine, if we get to see another film, he’d play a larger role.

The second scene in the middle of the credits is the big one, though. Queen Marlena and Duncan are chatting, and the Queen mentions she’s given up hope of Adam returning. Duncan then adds that “Perhaps one day she’ll come back to us too.” “She” as in Adam’s sister, and Marlena’s daughter, Adora, better known as She-Ra.

We then cut to She-Ra herself. We don’t see her face, but she’s standing on a cliffside, overlooking a large city in Etheria (or is it Eternia?) holding the Sword of Protection. As she stands in a heroic pose, with what appears to be a cartoon-accurate costume, someone approaches. “Force Captain Adora?” they ask. “No, not anymore,” she replies as the stone in the sword lights up.

In the animated series, Adora was taken from Eternia by the evil Hordak and made to fight for him as “Force Captain Adora.” But, apparently, she has wised up to her true heritage. Stories that could be told, potentially, in a sequel.

Finally, after teasing Orko and She-Ra, the very end of the credits has one more surprise. It’s Evil-Lyn, heading back to Castle Grayskull and grabbing Skeletor’s skull, which was still there after he was defeated by He-Man. Why did he just leave it there? We don’t know. But she says he’s looked better, and we hear a laugh, letting us know that Skeletor will return. As he always does.

In terms of end credits teases, director Travis Knight does really give fans exactly what they want. We tease an iconic fan-favorite character, the franchise’s second mega hero, and the return of the villain who can bring them all back together again. Which was your favorite?
