Yesterdays x Reigning Phoenix Music Transformers: The Movie: The Soundtrack – The Reformatted Edition Cassette Box Set
Yesterdays is known for its pop culture pins, and while those remain extremely good, we’ve got our eye on these Transformers: The Movie soundtrack cassette box sets. There are four variants: Ramhorn, Ravage, Laserbeak, and Steeljaw. The cassettes are designed to look like the original G1 Mini-Cassette Transformers, and the boxes are themed after Blaster or Soundwave, depending on whether you grab an Autobot or Decepticon variant. They also come with two enamel pins. Each box set costs $50; the Ramhorn and Ravage editions will be available at Yesterdays’ booth, #1028, and Laserbeak and Steeljaw will be available at RPM’s booth, #4029.
Bull Airs x Atomic Toybox Mars Attacks Long Horn High Tops
Bull Airs makes pop-culture-themed sneakers, and they’re teaming up with Atomic Toybox to bring these officially licensed Mars Attacks high tops to SDCC. They’re available for $299 at booth #3917.

100% Soft Glow-in-the-Dark Venom Dumpster Fire Vinyl Figure
Yes, you do need this glow-in-the-dark Venom dumpster fire vinyl toy, and so do I, even though I already own two other 100% Soft dumpster fire figures and I don’t especially care about Venom as a character. It’s just that good. It’s available for $32 at booth #315.
McFarlane Toys John Stewart Ultraviolet Lantern Gold Label
Before John Stewart appears on screen in HBO’s Lanterns, you can grab a cool “Ultraviolet Lantern” variant figure from McFarlane Toys. According to DC Collectors, “Representing the hidden Ultraviolet spectrum of the Emotional Entity chart (introduced during Scott Snyder’s Justice League run), this Gold Label variant provides a striking, purple-hued shift from Stewart’s typical emerald uniform.” Price TBA, available at booth #1915.
Dark Horse The Hobbit: Bilbo Baggins Vinyl Figure (Invisible Variant)
There are only 500 of these 6″ invisible Bilbo Baggins figures available, so grab one (or five, because that’s the most you’re allowed to buy) if you can find one. They’re $60 each at booth #2615.
Mondo Masters of the Universe Panthor 1/6 Scale Figure Flocked Limited Edition
I love a good oversized figure, and this 12″ tall, 18″ long, 10-pound Panthor exactly fits the bill. This Panthor is soft to the touch thanks to its flocked texture and comes with removeable armor and swappable heads. Grab it for $525 at booth #5137 or pre-order it online starting at 10 a.m. CT on July 22.
Titan Books The Making of Aliens by J.W. Rinzler with Bug Stomper Enamel Pin
J. W. Rinzler’s The Making of Aliens is a cool enough collectible on its own, but you can buy it on Amazon right now without needing the go all the way to San Diego. The real draw here is the limited edition Bug Stomper enamel pin that comes with each purchase. Only 100 copies are available, and if you buy one, you’ll be entered into a raffle to win a copy signed by James Cameron. You can pick up a copy for $60 at booth #5537.
IDW Publishing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Lithograph by Chuck U
This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles art print is actually Chuck U‘s variant cover of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #300. It was so good that IDW decided to make a limited run of 16″x24″ lithographs exclusively available at San Diego Comic-Con. There are only 300 of these available. They run $60 each and you can pick one up at booth #2729.
Mattel Gym Bro Skeletor Action Figure
First of all, where can I purchase Skeletor’s entire gym outfit, sneakers, socks, and sweatbands included? Second of all, this 6″ figure, which has 32 points of articulation, is just extremely good. And yeah, it is a reference to a specific scene from the recent Masters of the Universe live-action movie, but I’d argue that it’s even better out of context. Imagine you hadn’t seen the Masters of the Universe movie but had some cultural awareness of the property as a whole. And then you saw an action figure of the villain decked out as an unrepentant gym bro. “What on Eternia?” you’d think. And it would be glorious. Accessories for the figure include two dumbbells, one barbell, a custom gym towel, and interchangeable hands. You can pick it up for $50 at booth #2945, and a limited quantity will also be available through Mattel’s website.

I was trying to limit each company on this list to just one stand-out item, but I just couldn’t choose between the Gym Bro Skeletor and KPop Demon Hunters Hot Wheels Porsche 911 GT3 R (992).
