Captain America: Civil War
Spider-Man writer Jonathan Goldstein has confirmed that Spider-Man is definitely in Civil War—and reveals that at least part of his appearance, if not all of it, has been filmed already:
We hear good things. We might even get to look at the Spidey suit, which is exciting.
Meanwhile, writing partner John Francis Daley denied the ridiculous casting rumors circulating last week:
We’ve discussed certain characters, but nothing is certain yet, for sure.

Doctor Who
Fans have been speculating for a while now that Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams is playing a character we’ve seen before—specifically, Jenny, the Doctor’s Daughter from the story of that name. And Steven Moffat felt those rumors were noteworthy enough for him to specifically deny that Williams is playing a returning character, when he spoke to the Television Critics Association press tour:
I can’t really tell you. I think once you see what she’s up to in the show you’ll appreciate what a clever idea of Brian Minchin’s — that was [my co-exec] who thought of Maisie for this part. It’s a significant role. We’re not throwing her away. We’re not just getting star value and doing nothing with it. It’s a great part, and she’s terrific in it. But, I would say, it will develop in unexpected ways.
One thing I think is worth saying because it keeps coming up as an issue. She is not playing a returning character. She’s a brand new character. She is not someone from the Doctor’s past.... Unless I’m lying. Aye.

Moffat also continued to discuss the likeliness (or lack thereof) of a movie adaptation in the near future:
The thing about the film, it’s not actually up to me,. That’s up to the BBC. To say the least I don’t own Doctor Who ... What are we going to do — shut down for a year and make a movie? Does everyone really want that? One movie instead of a whole series?
Or the idea that I’ve always been incredibly resistant to, and you’ll be glad to know, Pete [Capaldi], is the idea that you would have a different Doctor in the movie because I think that would just be incredibly damaging to the franchise. You can’t have two James Bonds at the same time.
Ash vs Evil Dead
Sam Raimi discusses the amount of action in the show:
We couldn’t set up as many trick shots. We had to focus on the character which is what the audience wanted anyways. I think the transition TV demanded was precisely what the fans wanted and will work out for the best.

Turbo FAST
Kevin Conroy discusses playing The Stinger, a Batman pastiche appearing in Netflix’s animated series based on the Dreamworks film Turbo:
Oh, this was so much fun! I love this character. Because I can really blow out everything I’m not allowed to do as Batman. You know, Batman is humble. He’s self-effacing. He doesn’t want to draw attention to himself. He wants to just do good and have no one even know he’s doing it. This guy is a braggart. He wants to draw attention to himself.
