Will Smith has confirmed in a video that he's "about to make 3D look goooood," when Men In Black III launches in 2012—in 3D.

The film is slated to open May 25th, 2012, and will see Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones return to their roles from 1997 and 2002. It'll be directed by the same director of the first two films, Barry Sonnenfeld, and released by Sony Pictures in 3D. As it'll be set in 1969 they'll have quite a task on their hands to deliver a convincing 3D film which is true to its retro period, though I doubt anyone actually interested in watching the movie will give two hoots about authenticity. Am I the only one that did not hate MIB2? It wasn't as good as the first but it was still very fun. The series was never to be taken seriously. I can't wait 'till the third. And 3d IS good as long as it doesn't get in the way of the plot *cough*Avatar*cough*.
